AGIT 2018: preparation

It won’t be long now before AGIT opens its doors!
We have something new planned for this year: I (ScubbX) will be taking my projector, which I bought second hand and which has been sitting in my cupboard unused ever since, to AGIT and putting it to use. After the accident with my TV last year, I’ve become a bit more cautious about bringing equipment into the house…

A makeshift screen mounting system has been constructed for on-site use, posters are provided with wooden frames and the boxes are filled with many utensils. This year, two screens donated to the OSM-AT are particularly noteworthy: although they are very heavy due to their age, they have an exceptionally good image quality.

But now some of you may be asking yourselves how all this stuff will get from Vienna to Salzburg to AGIT? My colleague geologist is travelling by car and can take me and all my stuff with him!
