StateOfTheMap 2019 in Heidelberg (September)
The international State Of The Map conference will take place in Heidelberg from 21 to 23 September 2019! Contributions can be submitted until 25 April 2019 and there is a travel grant programme (see quoted text below)

Hello,
From 21 to 23 September 2019, the next State of the Map will take place at the University of Heidelberg. SotM is the international OpenStreetMap conference.
The deadline for submitting talks for the non-academic tracks is 25 April 2019. These are the following tracks:
- Mapping
- Cartography
- Software development
- Data analysis and data model
- Experiences
- Community and Foundation
- OSM Basics
For the OSM Basics track, we are looking for talks that provide an introduction to an area of OSM. Based on our experiences in Milan, we expect that a large number of commercial visitors will also be attending the conference, sent by their company/authority to the SotM, and will probably be happy to accept these basic talks.
In addition to the usual 20-minute talks (plus 5 minutes for questions), these tracks also include long talks (40 minutes + 15 minutes for questions), lightning talks (5 minutes) and workshops (60–90 minutes). In addition to the programme planned by the programme committee, there will also be rooms for spontaneous short presentations, discussion groups, lectures and workshops.
