AGIT 2019 – Day 3 and therefore the last day at AGIT

The time passed quickly for us and today the AGIT came to an end. Despite a short night, we started the day full of energy and were available to help visitors with our knowledge.

On the last day, some visitors took OSM mugs from us in return for a small donation. We are always pleased when people are willing to support the OSM association in this way. Many thanks to the many donors.

Since, naturally, there is not much going on at other stands and from the lectures on the last day, visitors came to us to ask us questions, and we were able to take time to deal with them more intensively. We also try to provide help in such a way that visitors can help themselves at home.

From my point of view, visitors often ask me about difficult problems that I have not encountered before. That’s why we have to do our own research at the stand here, and I also find that very exciting about working at such trade fairs.

We are equipped with several screens and notebooks to access multiple sources simultaneously. We also use different systems like OSGeo-Live to show visitors the various OSGeo tools.

Finally, we had to start dismantling the OSM & OSGeo stand, as instructed by the organisers.

Finally, the material was neatly packed and ready for transport to the car.

Despite his injury from Tuesday, Markus supported Andi very well again, so that after a little lugging, the material could be stowed in the car.

Satisfied, we took a few selfies before Markus could start his journey home. I will spend another two days in Salzburg, because I have not been able to see much of Salzburg besides the AGIT.
