Hello, everyone!

On Thursday, October 29th, 2020, from 7:00 p.m., a virtual *OpenStreetMap meet-up will take place! The Viennese hackerspace Metalab (https://metalab.at/) has allowed us to use their Jitsi server for an online meet-up.

The online version has some advantages, but also some disadvantages:

• Spatial distance is no longer an obstacle! Regardless of whether you are sitting in Vienna or Graz - participation requires the same effort for everyone

• Not everyone can chat with everyone at the same time. But we can turn this shortcoming into a (+), because:

• There is a loose program. If you have a topic that you want to have listed now, please share it or enter it on the wiki page, otherwise it will end up under “Additional Points” at the end of the list

Whether the bandwidth is sufficient for all of us to participate via video remains to be seen – but be prepared that we might have to limit the video transmission to 1-2 people at a time . What is always an advantage, based on various experiences, is to use a very recent browser.
