The time has come: On September 30th, the old OSM forum and possibly also the mailing list will be retired and replaced by the new “OSM communities”: https://community.openstreetmap.org/c/communities/at/59

The OSM Communities are a kind of modern web forum with simple options for awarding (+1), creating polls, for discussions in sub-threads or simply for linear conversations - as before.

The OSMF (OpenStreetMap Foundation) is providing a questionnaire about its past and future activities. This is a great opportunity to get involved in the direction of OSM with little effort. All mappers are invited to participate! The questionnaire is open for responses until Sunday, February 14, 2021.

Are you an OpenStreetMap Foundation member? Then you can (and should) still take part in the OSMF board election 2020 until Saturday (12.12.2020)! This year marks the third anniversary of the OSM Awards, which honour particularly dedicated mappers and activists. Voting will continue until 26 July and the awards will be presented at the StateOfTheMap 2018 conference in Milan.

Hello,

this year marks the third edition of the OSM Awards, which will be presented at State of the Map in Milan. The final round of voting began on 1 July and will continue until Friday, 26 July. Please take part and vote! Every mapper is entitled to vote. You can register and then cast your vote at http://awards.osmz.ru/. You can vote for as many candidates as you like in each category, but only for one candidate in each category (no cumulating). The candidate who has collected the most votes wins in each category. You can change your vote until the end of the voting process.
